CONTESTS
What better way to develop your skills than to compete! All forms of video, broadcast, and short film production are team sports. There is a heavy reliance on everyone on the team to hold up their end. We will look to compete in a number of contests to develop our skills and see how we stack up at telling the story. Here are some of them:

STN CHALLENGE FALL CONTEST 2017
COBB COUNTY SHORT MOVIE EXTRAVAGANZA (CCSME): All the high schools in Cobb County compete against each other. This contest is based off the "48 Hour Film Festival" format, however instead of having only 48 hours to plan, film and edit a short movie, students are typically given 8 school days. Movies must be no longer than 5 minutes, meet certain requirements and contain specific elements - which are released the day the competition starts. There are two groupings: Novice (current AVTF-1 members) and Advanced (anyone beyond AVTF-1).
