Hello everyone! It's hard to believe, but we're at the final full week of school of the semester. I think this semester flew by faster than any other I've taught. Seniors, many of you I've had since you were freshman and I can 't believe you're moving on already. You should be very proud of what you've accomplished. This week, we'll all be wrapping everything up, taking a look at what we've done and preparing for the written final exams. Seniors, you'll be taking your exams later this week. Please be sure to review the appropriate study guides located in the right side panel. HOYAVISION / HARRISON TODAY / HSPN This week we'll be cleaning and straightening out the studio, control room and equipment room this week. We'll also be preparing for the written final. You all did so well, especially for just learning the gear, positions, & workflow. I'm very proud of you. Welcome to FINAL PROJECT WEEK. All final projects for all classes are due by end of class on Friday. Friday, 5/13/16, is the last day I'll accept any past due assignments. Please remember: 1. Any written assignments need to be turned into OneNote Class Notebook. This can be accessed using the link for your class on the right sidebar. 2. Any video you are turning in videos (i.e. interviews), please turn them into SchoolTube. If you should have any issues with either of these, please be sure to let me know before Friday - assignments are still due on these by Friday. WRITTEN FINAL STUDY GUIDES WILL BE POSTED LATER THIS WEEK. AVTF - 1: We will be wrapping up our final broadcasts on Monday. We'll also be focusing on wrapping up our Music Video Projects. They are due on Friday by end of class. The rubric for the Music Video is on the right sidebar of this blog. Here are the deliverables: 1. Video: uploaded to Schooltube 2. Hard copies of the following: a. Rubric - all three self-graded b. Song Lyrics c. Proposal d. Storyboard e. Shot List Please make sure that ALL pages have your name and period on them, even if stapled together. AVTF-3 We will be wrapping up any videos we're working on. We'll also be completing a post-project eval of the Senior Photo video. Lastly, we'll be finishing our Professional Portfolio websites. The rubric is on the right sidebar of the blog. You will need to complete: TECHNICAL DIRECTORS And your choice of ONE of the following: REPORTERS & CORRESPONDENTS or NEWS ANCHOR These will be due by end of class on Friday, in your Class Notebook Your final Music Video is due Friday, May 13th. Here are the deliverables: 1. Video: will be uploaded to Schooltube.com 2. Paperwork: 1. Rubric - self graded. (be sure to grade all areas - Pre-Production, Production, Post Production) 2. Lyrics 3.
