ALLGood Morning One and All! While the Bills may have lost against Pittsburgh, I did get a chance to play with my grandkids for a few hours on Sunday, so all is good. Here are a few items for everyone: Special thanks to Aaron Bruner (Ms. Bruner's son) and his MBA team for allowing us to help with their video project. Allana, Tyler, Lauren and Becky all contributed to producing the video in a short timeframe. Mr. Bruner made a generous contribution to our SkillsUSA Broadcast Video Production Training Program and had this to say: "..Excellent job! Thank you so much once again. And of course, feel free to use this as (for) the students'...portfolios." WEBSITES: 1. If you have a website from a previous semester, please update it. It's not enough just to have a URL. 2. PLEASE ORGANIZE IT! Make it easy for your audience to get to know who you are. Start with About Me, Contact Me, Education, Community Service, Skills, etc. 3. HYPERLINKS: Please do NOT simply put the URL. Type a couple of word description and then hyperlink the website to the words. 3a. TEST THE HYPERLINKS!! Make sure they work. 4. READ OVER EVERY WORD! Your brain is working faster than your fingers. I'm seeing a lot of missing words, misspelled words, wrong words (compliments of spellcheck). Also make sure you capitalize properly. 5. PUNCTUATION: Please make sure you are using periods, commas, apostrophes, etc. correctly. Remember, many times it's not necessarily what you say, it's HOW you say (write) it that will leave the impression. We all have the following Weekly Assignments: 1. Journal Entry - in the Class Notebook (see the link in the right sidebar for your ClassNotebook). It is due by Friday The log in is still: [email protected] P/W: school network password Please create a new page, labelled with the WEEK ENDING DATE (i.e. WE 12/09/16). Please be sure to answer all 5 questions (they're 20 pts. ea., and keep it relevant to your involvement in the class. Make sure you're learning something - that's on you. 2. Blog Entry: Please continue to watch the broadcasts and comment on this blog using the following format: Acknowledge one positive aspect of a segment of the show Build on it by making it personal - how did that segment affect you or affect your peer Continue the conversation by asking an open-ended question. HV_HT_HSPN need to watch another school's show and comment on my blog. Please be professional in your comments. AVTF-1 & AVTF-2 need to watch one of OUR shows and comment. Let's finish the semester strong.
Hello everyone! I hope you were able to enjoy the weekend - despite the cold, wet Sunday.
Only 2 1/2 weeks left to go in the semester. We're in the final turn - please make sure we're giving our best efforts as we wrap things up. Fair warning: Buffalo lost today, going up by 15 only to have 21 unanswered points scored against us. Not our best outing in the 2nd half. EVERYONE:
