Please, as we wrap up our last exercises, broadcasts, etc, make sure your name is associated with your very best ... in all your classes. DROP ADD INFOFALL SEMESTER COURSE REQUEST Drop/Add will run from Thursday, May 9th through midnight Monday, May 13th for students whose schedules contain the following errors: 1) The student has not met the prerequisite(s) for this class 2) The student has already received credit for or is currently enrolled in this class 3) The student is missing a class on their schedule, i.e., only has 3 classes listed 4) The student is missing a course required for graduation 5) The student has been placed in the incorrect academic course Students will use the following link to submit Drop/Add requests: https://HarrisonHS.formstack.com/forms/fall_2019_drop_add_form Counselors and Mrs. Poole will be processing Drop/Add requests through the end of May. Please be patient with the process. We want all students focused on final exams and ending the year strong. SENIORSSeniors will be taking their finals on Thursday and Friday. Periods 3 & 4 will be given on Thursday and Periods 1 & 2. The final study guides are posted on the right column. I've also posted the guides on the Class Notebooks. We'll review throughout this week. HOYAVISION - HSPNGreen Crew will be broadcasting on Monday and Friday. HSPN will broadcast their wrap up show on Tuesday. EVERYONEFINAL PROJECTS: Our final projects were due last Friday, 5/3/19. AVTF-1 & 2 Videos were to be uploaded to the GA Share drive, AVTF-1 & 2 Pre-production inserted in the Pre-Production page in your Class Notebooks. All Portfolio Website links need to be listed on the Spring 2019 Portfolio Website form. If the items are not in these locations, they are considered not submitted. PLEASE make sure they are there! END OF PATHWAY ASSESSMENTS - 5/08/19 & 5/19/19Those students completing AVTF-1, 2 & BVP-APP (HoyaVision-HSPN) will be taking the SkillsUSA Assessment. This will be offered 1st period on Wednesday, 5/8/19 in room 9129 (basement of Freshman Academy). Please be sure to review the study guide materials posted towards the bottom of the right column here on my blog. NOTE: YOU WILL NEED TO BRING EARBUDS FOR THIS TEST Those students in Per 4, AVTF-3, will be taking the NOCTI End of Pathway Assessment. You will be taking this test during 4th period on both Wednesday, May 8th and Thursday, May 9th in room 9129 (basement of the Freshman Academy) The study guide links are in your Class Notebooks. We'll be doing final reviews Monday and Tuesday. HOYAVISION - HSPNBlue Crew is on for their final episodes of the semester this week. Please let's make sure our segments and shows represent our best efforts - preparation, thorough - beginning, middle, end, and with high energy. HSPN - We are still in playoff mode for some teams and sectionals/States for Track. Let's be sure to provide the best coverage possible for these teams and our audience. We should all be compiling a 45 second recap - with b-roll - for all spring sports for our final episode next Tuesday. Let's celebrate what was overcome and the successes of the teams. Green Crew - your final week for broadcasts will be next week. Let's plan for great final segments and shows, similar to what Blue Crew is asked to deliver this week. AVTF-2 PERIOD 2This week, we'll complete our rundown for next week's broadcast. We'll also learn about Studio gear (lighting/cameras) and the Floor Director position. We will also introduce the control room gear and positions. We'll also take the second part of our Broadcast Vocab. The link for the specific words will be provided by end of day on Monday. AVTF-1 PERIOD 1This week, we'll complete our rundown for next week's broadcast. We'll also learn about Studio gear (lighting/cameras) and the Floor Director position.
