ALL: HoyaVision/HARRISON TODAY/HSPN applications, completed in full, are due to Mr. Phelps by Friday, October 2nd. Producers and Directors will be interviewed and hired first. Technicians will be interviewed and should come prepared with a reel of their best work. Talent will be interviewed and audition. Those will be completed and choices made by 10/16/15 and submitted to Admin 1 Scheduling for approval. Selections will not be notified until Admin 1 Scheduling has approved the choices. See side-bar on right for HoyaVision/HARRISON TODAY/HSPN Job Descriptions, Notes on completing application, and possible questions. Please be prepared for your interview, REEL (for Technical Crew) and AUDITION (for Talent) SEMESTER OUTLINE Be sure to stay on top of the progress dates for your Final Project, use the FALL 2015 OUTLINE link in the right sidebar to access the document. It covers the semester, week by week, including target dates for the Final Projects. AVTF-1 We'll be learning more about the PRE-PRODUCTION phase of video making. We'll learn the value of proper storyboarding as well as two main formats of script writing: Broadcast and Screenplay. ALL: 1. Grades closed last Friday, I was not able to finish grading all the assignments that were due on Friday in time to finalize the grades. Those assignments will be the first grades of the next progress report. 2. Re: grading late work, I will look at any late work after I'm caught up with all the other work turned in on time. 2. Applications for the Spring Semester HoyaVision / HARRISON TODAY / HSPN are now being distributed in my classes and in the Hole In The Wall. They are due back to me by October 2nd. Interviews for Producers & Directors will take place the week ending 10/9/15. Interviews & Auditions/Reel Reviews for Talent and Technical Crew will take place over the weeks of 10/16/15 & 10/23/15. Final decisions submitted to Admin 1 for approval by 10/30/15. AVTF-1 We have a busy week ahead - especially since it's a short week. We will need to really manage our time well.
