NEW SPACE COMING SOON!!ALLThank you everyone for your patience and understanding as we try to hit the ground running in our temporary location AND get the administrative workflow with Class Notebooks up and running. Welcome to life. Rarely do things happen as they are intended and we must find ways to work around them while still hitting our deadlines. If all goes well, we could be moving into the new space later this week!! CLASS NOTEBOOKS Please be sure you're able to access the online CLASS NOTEBOOKS via the links in the right side bar. If you are not able to access them, please let me know ASAP. That is where I will be assigning things and you will be turning in many assignments. Please check them from home as well as at school. SD CARDSEVERYONE will need to have their own, labeled Class 10 (see the 10 in a circle in the photo below), SD card THIS WEEK!! The school store, The Hole In the Wall, has them in-stock at very good price. Please do NOT pay more than $1/GB. HARRISON TODAY - HSPN - HOYAVISIONWe will begin our broadcasts the week of 8/24/18 no matter the state of control room / studio integration. Green Crew will open things up with HARRISON TODAY on Monday 8/20/18, HSPN will broadcast on Tuesday 8/21/18, and HoyaVision on Friday 8/24/18. The shows are 8 minutes long - exactly. Producers/Directors - please plan the segments accordingly. The tagline, for all our productions: "By Students, For Students". HARRISON TODAY: News in and around the Harrison community (events - upcoming/very recent; announcements (not necessarily the Wallpaper announcements) but new people, new policies, news that affects students). HSPN: ALL things Harrison HS Sports - all seasonal sports will be covered each week. Everyone must get at least two interviews from whatever sport they are covering - one of which must be on video. The other should be at least audio recorded. HOYAVISION: Celebrating the Harrison HS community. We MUST cover Academic AND Fine Arts each week - through HT or HV. All segments must be pitched and approved by Producer and me. There will be important stories that will be assigned on occasion. I will help with the pitch and oversee production. GOOD segments will be posted on our YouTube channel which I will manage. AVTF-2 - PERIOD 2This week, we'll continue to work through getting to know the Canon A-10's and review the projects for the semester. We will also go over interview set ups - to include lighting - both indoor and outdoor. We may also be called on to help with the set up of the new space. Thank you in advance for your flexibility. AVTF-1 - PERIOD 3 & 4This week we'll be establishing our base knowledge so we can figure out at the end of the semester how much we've learned. We'll be continuing to work on our framing, Rule of Thirds, use of Wide - Medium - Tight shots - going on a photography scavenger hunt mid-week.
We may assist with setting up our new space as well. Thank you for your flexibility.
