Good Morning All! I hope you were able to enjoy the break and are rested and ready for the final stretch. We have a lot to do these final weeks, so let's get started: FALL 2016 HOYAVISION - HARRISON TODAY - HSPN APPLICANTS: We'll be wrapping up interviews for both technical and talent applicants. We'll also be starting the audition process for the talent. Please see the sidebar on the right for interview tips as well as what will be required for the Talent Audition Script. Here's a link to what your script should consist of: TALENT AUDITION SCRIPT HARRISON TODAY - HOYAVISION - HSPN: This week, we should be working on our upcoming broadcasts. Required elements for remaining shows will be: 1. Iso shot at the desk for all three crews (HoyaVision, HARRISON TODAY (Tuesday's show), HSPN). 2. Stand up "teaser" for EACH segment on upcoming show. Should be recorded by talent assigned to the segment. It should be very short (5-10 seconds). These videos are due by end of class on the Friday BEFORE the episode airs. It will be run as a short commercial on HARRISON TODAY. 3. Producer & Directors will be held to (graded on) the timing of the proposed shows based on the shared rundown. This adds to the realism and importance of planning/practicing as well as the communication during the recording of the live to tape or live streamed show. When not actively working on a segment (you should know all assignments for April), you should be working on your PROFESSIONAL portfolio website. The suggested section time frames are listed in the bar on the right. Several crew members still need to submit their Conversation Interview Segment. It may still be submitted, however the maximum grade would be an 80 - if done perfectly. Anything is still better than a zero. Projects must be submitted to me via SchoolTube or via flash drive for me to copy to my hard drive. Here's the link to the project outline: _CONVERSATION SEGMENT OUTLINE AVTF-1

Here is a link to an online survey that needs to be completed by Friday, 4/15/16: _SHORT FILM BREAKDOWN We'll also be starting our final unit of the semester: Broadcast. We'll be learning the various positions/equipment and process of producing a good broadcast. Most importantly, we'll be learning the value of teamwork in this occupation. The first week, we'll be focusing on
